We know what they say about all work and no play, so we do plenty of both. A new physician could have a busy clinic the first week, but we generally wait a couple weeks just to let the surgeon get acclimated to the practice and hospitals. There are more patients to be seen than we have physicians, so that’s why we are recruiting. A strong network of referring physicians and a population with a high incidence of vascular disease keeps MAVI very busy and in need of more surgeons. We are committed to finding like-minded physicians who embrace the MAVI values and exhibit clinically excellent surgical skills because we know when it comes to the unique team-oriented approach at MAVI everyone has to be invested and committed.

 

Whether it’s taking a few minutes to join in a birthday celebration, spending an evening celebrating Christmas with the staff, wearing a T-shirt to have fun with the CEO, looking at the eclipse with staff during a clinic lunch break, or wearing fun t-shirts and posing for a pic with the staff, at MAVI we take every opportunity to find the happy in each day.
