Midwest Aortic & Vascular Institute (MAVI) is an accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
The MAVI-sponsored program provides comprehensive vascular education and training experiences leading to the development of clinically and technically competent vascular surgeons who provide high quality, consistent care and are professionals capable of practicing effectively in a wide range of vascular surgery settings.

Meet Our Nurse Practitioner
At MAVI's our nurse practitioner has years of NP experience specific to physician owned vascular surgery practice following years of service in hospital settings working as critical care registered nurse. Along with the Vascular Fellows, Melissa supports MAVI surgeons by taking initial calls for consults and making rounds on inpatients. She is a vital part of our thriving independent practice.
